Precast foundation walls for Cincinnati-area builds
Precast foundation walls are concrete wall panels cast in a factory from your approved plans, then delivered and set by crane. The panels use 5,000+ psi concrete reinforced with steel rebar and polypropylene fibers, with insulation and stud facings built in.

From plans to install day
- Send approved plans. KOI’s CAD designers use them to custom-design each wall panel.
- Panels are built in the factory. They are cast under controlled conditions.
- Prepare the site. The site is excavated and a crushed stone footing is placed.
- Install day. A crane sets each panel, and the crew bolts the panels together and seals every joint.
- Frame, pour the slab, then backfill. The wall must be supported at the top and bottom before backfill.

When can a precast foundation be backfilled?
After the floor framing or decking connection at the top of the wall and the floor slab at the bottom are in place.
What wall heights are available?
Standard heights include 4’0″, 4’8″, 8’2″, 9’0″ and 10’0″. Not all heights are available in every area, so confirm early.
